My time in Melbourne
how RMIT made me a more sensitive and conceptual designer
Studying at RMIT really deepened my conceptual thinking and presented me with new threads to explore with in the industry, such as exhibition design, curating, jewellery design and display.
I also found a new passion for making materials, combining unexpected materials and pigments to create hybrid materials which provoke thought.
A common thread in all the projects at RMIT, was the concept - "finding something out of nothing" such as re - purposing waste and turning it into something beautiful and valuable. As well as exploring plinthing and compositions to add value and desire to experiences and artefacts.
